    Low Wood Bay Hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Windermere. It is an established four star hotel boasting 111 bedrooms, an extensive 360 capacity Conference Centre, two restaurants along with a prestigious Leisure Club and Watersports/Activity Centre.

    We are looking for a COMMIS CHEF to join our dedicated Kitchen Team.

    You will be assisting chefs preparing fresh seasonal produce, cooking modern British cuisine, using some of the latest technology available in modern kitchens.

    You will gain valuable experience catering for large functions, weddings, conference business, extensive a la carte and grill menus and a modern bar operation.

    No experience is needed as full training and development will be given, however a positive attitude and a genuine passion for food is required. A willingness to learn and be part of a team are also essential requirments.

    The Midland Hotel, part of the English Lakes Hotels, Resorts & Venues Group, was built in the 1930’s and is a destination in itself. It has 44 thoroughly modern 1930's inspired guest rooms, a warm, welcoming top-class restaurant, bar and outstanding facilities for conferences and events.

    We are looking for a GENERAL ASSISTANT to join us at our sleek, art deco-inspired masterpiece.

    Your aim will be to surpass our guests' expectations by understanding their individual needs. Specifically you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a excellent standard of food and drink service.

    You need to be friendly, have lots of enthusiasm, with a genuine desire to be part of a winning team and get a real buzz out of looking after guests. Previous experience is not essential as training can be given.

    The successful candidate will be working within our Food and Beverage team, looking after our guests in our Rosette restaurant, which is very popular for afternoon teas, lunches and dinners.

    Your normal hours of work will involve different shift patterns over 5 days out of 7.
