Waterhead, part of English Lakes, Hotels, Resorts and Venues, is set on the shores of Lake Windermere with an AA rosette, 41 bedrooms, fantastic lake front restaurant and bar, with outstanding facilities for conferences and events.
You will have a good financial and business acumen, excellent development skills along with the capability to lead, motivate and inspire a talented kitchen brigade.
Previous experience as a Head Chef is essential within a similar high quality hotel operation, dealing with large volume business and catering for a wide variety of individual customers.
In addition you will ideally be experienced in managing all areas of the kitchen, and play an active role in training and developing the team, whilst possessing an innovative and creative role in menu planning and costing, whilst delivering the highest quality of Food & Service
You must hold a valid Advanced Food Hygiene qualification and be fully knowledgeable of all the relevant Food Safety legislation.
