Log Cabins

Perfect for family breaks and quiet escapes, our 3 star Lake District Log Cabins are well appointed and comfortable. Most log cabins afford glimpses of Lake Windermere through the beech woods which lead down to Lake Windermere. You also have access to Storrs Hall exclusive jetty and slipway, from where you can set sail on exciting explorations and adventures on beautiful Lake Windermere.

You can choose from one or two bedroom lodge accommodation. The Log Cabins feature gas central heating, double glazing, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge / dining area, plus bathroom, with bath and / or shower*. Bed Linen provided (not towels).

Each Log Cabin has it's own private patio, with a picnic bench, where you can enjoy some quality time in the sheer beauty of the Lake District scenery.

Leisure Facilities

Lodge guests also enjoy complimentary use of the Low Wood Leisure Club, boasting a 50ft feature & exercise pool as well as a fully equipped gym, dance room and squash court, the club also offers a sauna, outdoor hot tub and beauty salons offering a range of treatment for those that would prefer to relax.

Access to Log Cabins: The cabins are set in a woodland location with their own parking area. Steps provide the only access to the cabins from the car park which are not suitable for people who have mobility issues or require wheelchair access. Log Cabin Access Statement (RTF File)

Terms and Conditions

Where a party or a booking consists of three or more lodges and/or is to include members from an organisation/institution/similar body or those benefiting from activities organised by third parties, for example, charities, local authorities and the like you must provide the following before we can confirm your booking:

The name and type of organisation/institution etc, (if applicable)
Details for the contact person wishing to make the booking
The name, age, address and gender of each member of the party,
Any other information we may reasonably require and you must obtain our specific agreement that where the majority of the party is under 21 or includes any person(s) who are normally closely supervised, there will be sufficient capable and responsible adults over the age of 21, in every accommodation unit, to provide adequate supervision for the party.

You must provide the following information prior to arrival and confirm it on arrival:

A completed rooming list or registration form for each accommodation unit, showing the name, age, address and gender of each member of the party and identifying the capable and responsible persons referred to above
The name of one capable and responsible person over the age of 21 who must be present for the duration of the break and accept overall responsibility for the whole party.
