2013 New Year Breaks - Programme
Monday 30th December 2013
Arrive at your leisure from midday onwards when, after settling in, traditional Lancashire cream teas will be served in front of our log fires. We start our celebration with dinner served in our AA award-winning Restaurant. In annual tradition, we have an evening of fun with the sport of kings as we invite you to join us for a "Grand Night at the Races" complete with Tote desk, winners enclosure and the Betting Shop with superb prizes.
New Year's Eve – Tuesday 31st December 2013
We invite you to have a leisurely breakfast. You may want to explore the historic city of Lancaster or take a drive into the surrounding countryside. The Sandpiper Leisure Club will be open for those who fancy a quick dip or some beauty treatments before the big party tonight. Dress code for this evening is Black & White. Tim Bell and his team invite you to our Champagne & canapé reception where you will have the opportunity to meet your hosts and welcome friends old and new, along with the sounds of our bagpiper, before enjoying our Five-course gala dinner, inclusive of a bottle of house wine per couple served in the Bowland Suite. After creating such a hit last year, we’re proud once again to have some very special entertainment lined up for our New Year guests. We give you the return of the one and only Jake & Elwood Blues Brother’s Show supported by the incredible Lee Jackson as Freddie Mercury. Both acts will raise the roof again with all the classic songs from the Cult ‘80’s film and all your favourite Queen Hits. We will welcome in 2014 with another glass of bubbly and a late supper will be served for those who a fancy a bed-time snack.

New Year's Day - Wednesday 1st January 2014
Happy New Year! No need to rush down today as a leisurely brunch will be served all morning. It’s a gentle pace to start the day and the Leisure Complex will be open for a dip in the outside hot-tub or a soothing swim. For the afternoon, we have organised an all new “Generation Game” with fun and challenges for the whole family, along with some tasty tit-bits for anyone feeling peckish. The evening begins with a cocktail in front of the fire before a 3-course dinner in the Restaurant. Our ever popular pub quiz with yet more prizes concludes the evening.

3-Night New Year House Party
(also available as a flexible 2-night package)
Our 3-night holiday package commencing 30th December and departing 2nd January, fully inclusive of all meals and entertainment as detailed, costs £409 per person. Should you wish to arrive on the 30th for 2 nights or the 31st for 2 nights, the price will be £289 per person.
Children's rates
Under 3's are accommodated free (meals charged as taken). Ages 4-15 sharing a room with 2 adults are 50% of adult price. Under 15's occupying their own room are 75% of the adult rate, based on two sharing.
NB: The formal New Year's Eve celebrations are not ideally suitable for children under 10 years of age.

Discounts & Additional "Bolt-on" Nights
For the two & three-night package only, if there are three or more couples in your party, and you will be requiring a table of six or more for meals, then you all may be eligible for a 10% discount. Arrive at your leisure from Midday onwards when, after settling in, a traditional Lancashire cream tea will be served in front of our log fires. You may want to take this opportunity to explore the historic city of Lancaster or take a drive into the beautiful surrounding countryside. The Sandpiper Leisure Complex will be open all day so you can relax in the facilities which include Sauna, Steam-Room, Heated indoor pool and even an outside Hot Tub! Tonight you will be joining our 3-Night New Year guests in the Bowland Suite for the Freddie Mercury tribute followed by the Jake & Elwood Blues Brothers show as detailed above. On New Year’s Day, there’s no need to rush down too early as a leisurely brunch will be served all morning. After brunch, we say farewell and we hope to see you again next year.

Booking & Deposits
For more information, or to book your Christmas or New Year Holiday, please telephone us. To secure your holiday, a non-refundable deposit of £100 per adult is required at the time of booking. This can be made by simply quoting a credit card number and details, or by sending a cheque which must be received within 7 days of the booking being made. Full payment of the outstanding balance is required 8 weeks prior to your stay.
