  • Come and celebrate the Queens Jubilee at the Waterhead all weekend with our BBQ garden party.

    The BBQ will be available between the hours of 12pm and 4pm and include our famous Waterhead burgers, Cumberland rings an extensive salad bar and other favourites.
    All guests dining from the BBQ will also get one of our Jubilee cupcakes. All this for £13.95 per person (Usual relish discount applies).

  • Steak night at The Wild Boar Wednesday 16th May

    Chance to experience different high quality steaks, including some that have been smoked in our very own Smokehouse. Arrive 6.30pm for 7.00pm starting the night with a drinks reception in the bar, then to the main event where you will be served a steak board including fillet and sirloin steak, onion rings, chips "no greens needed it's steak night" glass of wine included with your main course, followed by a pudding and coffee.

  • Smoking Course at The Wild Boar Wednesday 23rd May 2012 / Wednesday 20th June

    As the only restaurant in the Lake District with its own smokehouse, The Wild Boar is working with smoking experts Smoky Jo's to provide a 1 day smoking course, where you will learn how to hot and cold smoke a range of different foods such as chicken, salmon, sausage, and cheese, using the Inns own purpose-built smokehouse.
    Arrival 10am finish time is approx 3.30pm.

    Cost is normally £109.00

    £99.00 to all English Lakes Relish members price includes lunch at the Inn with the smoking team.
