Our house rooms have all the standard facilities expected; classic rooms are generally larger; feature rooms include extra features such as luxury bathrooms, canopy or four poster bed; luxury rooms are the best rooms available within the hotel.

Note: Please note the supplement does not apply at the Waterhead in the Classic and Luxury and the Midland in the Feature and Luxury rooms, all rooms in those categories have Lake or Sea View so view is incorporated in the rate.

Single Supplement

£30.00 per person

Dogs

£10.00 per Dog per Night up to 2 dogs in a room.

Children

£25.00 per child per night Bed and Breakfast when sharing a room with 2 adults, dinner charged as taken. Children occupying their own rooms are sold at best available adult rate.

Terms and Conditions

Deposits

At the time of confirmation a £100 non-refundable deposit per room is required, unless the total amount is lower, in which case the full amount will be charged. For special offers and bookings made less than 14 days in advance, full pre-payment is taken at the time of the booking.

VAT

Is included at the current prevailing rate on all bookings unless otherwise stated.

Final Payment

Payment for the balance of the cost of your booking should be made prior to departure. Credit facilities are not available unless prior arrangement has been made with the property.

Amendments

There is no charge if you wish to amend your booking, provided that a minimum of 7 days’ notice is given prior to the arrival date, and a new date is booked for arrival no later than 6 months after the original date. Should the new reservation be at a higher rate, or a different room type is required, additional charges will be made. For any unforeseen circumstances you are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance.

Single Occupancy

Double rooms for single occupancy carry a supplement which is automatically included in the total room cost displayed when checking availability.

Children

Children 15 and under sharing a room with 2 full paying adults are charged a nightly supplement which includes breakfast. All children’s evening meals are charged as taken from either the children’s or main menu. Children in their own rooms are charged at the full adult rate.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome in the properties. Dogs must not be left unattended in bedrooms. The properties charge £10.00 per dog per night, maximum of two dogs per room, and must be notified at the time of booking. Please call your property to confirm its full policy regarding dogs in public areas.

Arrival & Departure Times

Bedrooms are usually available for occupation from 3pm on the day of arrival and we request that they are vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

Please advise the property of any special dietary needs, other requirements, or mobility issues you may have prior to arrival.

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee these and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract.

Your contact details will never be given to any third party business/company under any circumstances and are used only for confirming your booking and any further correspondence regarding your stay. Offers from English Lakes may be posted periodically via conventional mail.
