Motor & Rowing Boat Hire on Lake Windermere, Lake District
Our motor boat and rowing boat hire allow you to explore England’s largest lake at your own pace and experience the breathtaking views only available from being out on the water. Public jetties along the eastern shore allow you to get off the boat and explore the lakeside towns, or stop off for lunch.
Motor Boat Hire
We have a choice of two types of motor boats available for hire, the first powered by a 6hp outboard engine and controlled by a steering wheel, which can take up to six people, the second powered by a 4hp outboard engine and controlled by a tiller, which can take up to four people.
Our 4hp tiller controlled boats are ideal for your fishing trip. Hire one for two hours or more and we will also provide a set of oars so you can get closer to the shore, an anchor and a fishing guide to Windermere.

Prices include buoyancy aids and fuel. Minimum age to hire the boat is 18 years old and you must be 16 years old to drive the boat.

The modern-style rowing boats are spacious and stable and can be handled by one or two people.
