    Waterhead offers wedding Breakfast Packages to suit people’s individual needs. All of our menus at the Waterhead are designed with the emphasis on the use of fresh, local, quality produce and our wedding menus have a combination of tried and tested old favourites, along with dishes synonymous with our highly regarded Bay Restaurant.

    Once again, please do not hesitate to contact us should you have your own favourite dish that you would like us to prepare for your special day!

    • Platter of Melon and Soft Fruits
      Glazed with orange sabayon
    • Cartmel Valley Hot Smoked Salmon
      with Cumberland honey mustard mayonnaise, saffron onions
    • Eden Valley Duck, Pigeon and Spiced Apple Terrine

      Roast shallots, mushroom and chive sauce

    • Roast Fillet of 28-Day Aged Beef

    A sample of some evening buffet selections available

    Please note that, once served, buffet food can only be left available to your guests for a maximum of two hours in order both to guarantee quality and comply with current legislation. Thereafter, all remaining food will be discarded.

  • Drinks packages

    In conjunction with our wine suppliers, Lakeland Vintners, we have put together the following sample drinks package to complement your special day. Drinks packages are also available that include champagne to toast to your special day.

    Arrival Drink

    Bucks Fizz - A glass of sparkling wine and fresh orange juice
    or
    Pimms and Lemonade - Served traditionally with orange, lemon, cucumber and mint

    Wedding Breakfast Wine

    Brown Brothers Chenin Blanc - Floral aromas, mouth-filling fruit, crisp finish with a trace of sweetness

    Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 - Medium bodied with hints of cherry and vanilla

    To Toast

    Tosti Sparkling Pinot Grigio - Soft and fruity medium sparkling wine

    Please note that, whilst every effort is made to provide the above packages, the hotel reserved the right to substitute any item for one of similar or higher quality if unavailable.
