The Wild Boar offers an Afternoon Tea with a twist. Out go the 'delicate finger sandwiches' and in come delicious pigs in blankets, mini Fish & Chips and beef sliders. We couldn't lose all the traditions, our Alternative Afternoon Tea is finished with a classic favourite, scones with jam & clotted cream.
Our Afternoon Teas are gluten free adaptable. Please ask a member of the team. We also offer a Vegetarian Afternoon Tea which is full of delicacies. Unfortunately we are unable to adapt our Afternoon Tea for vegan or diary free diets. Please see our Lunch Menu for alternative options.
Alternative Afternoon Picnic
Perfect picnic in the woods as an option which is the same as our alternative afternoon tea* but as a picnic. Instead of the three-tier wooden stand your picnic will be prepared and packed into a wicker basket with all the same produce. Enjoy all from our lawn with loan of a great outdoor blanket, or take it straight into our 72 acre private woodland and enjoy at your own pace.
The Alternative Afternoon Tea Picnic is priced as per the Alternative Afternoon Tea. Each Alternative Afternoon Tea Picnic includes the full Alternative Afternoon Tea plus one drink per person. Replacing the draft beer bat you may choose one of the following; a bottle of our home-brewed ale, a mini bottle of Prosecco or a soft drink.

During the festive month of December we will be serving our Festive Afternoon Tea Menu. Diners can enjoy a festive themed 3 tiered selection of seasonal treats.
