Guided walks from Low Wood Bay

Your guided walk from Low Wood Bay or nearby will combine a mix of terrain, fell and paths, take up to 3 hrs, depending on conditions.

Guests staying at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa can join our own walking guide, Pav Moskala, for a guided walk around some of the local, paths, trails and fells around Low Wood Bay or nearby.

 

 

Guided walks take place every Thursday and Saturday from 10am to 1pm, departing from Low Wood Bay or a pre-organised starting point nearby.  The service is available for hotel guests who want to explore the fells with some guided company.

Guided Walks FAQs

 

Will my walk be cancelled in bad weather?

Given that this is the 'Lake District', walkers can expect to encounter a mix of weather and should be equipped accordingly. However in the event of particularly bad weather the decision to cancel a walk may be taken.

 

What equipment do you provide for a guided walk?

Guests are expected to come already equipped with their own personal outdoor equipment and clothing.

 

Where at Low Wood Bay will we meet?

Most of the walks will start from Low Wood Bay. We will expect guests to meet at a prearranged location, which usually will be by the entrance to The Atrium at Low Wood Bay. Walks that start 'off site' will be have a meeting point, details of which will be provided to participants booked on a walk.

 

How do I book a walk?

Walks can be booked online. There's no fee to pay as the walks are provided FREE of charge.

 

When will walks take place?

Guided walks will take place every Thursday and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.

Low Wood Bay's lakeshore location
