Samantha Riley of The Hair Sanctuary at Lancaster House will be attending Lancaster House Enchanted Evening and is looking forward to chatting to brides and wedding parties about their dream wedding hair styles.
Not only that, The Hair Sanctuary are contributing to our Win a Wedding prize, giving completely free, bridal hairstyles for the bride and two bridesmaids, including a pre-wedding practice. We asked Samantha to tell us a little about her business and what brides are looking for in wedding styles in 2018.
A Salon with Lots of Benefits
The Hair Sanctuary, although based at Lancaster House, invites clients from far and wide, not just hotel guests. Our clients enjoy the benefits of being able to park outside the hotel and have a leisurely cup of good cup in Sandeman's Bar either before or after they have their hair styled. It makes a trip to the hairdressers more of an occasion. There's a really friendly atmosphere within the hotel and once our clients find us, they become part of our loyal clientele.

Five Popular Wedding Styles for 2018
Specialising in wedding hair, Samantha shares five of the most popular wedding hair styles for 2018…
These modern Updos are relaxed and very stylish. They are quite intricate to put together, and can be a mix of classic styles, loose waves and braids. Wispy tendrils low set give a soft romantic look.
Fairly new in 2018, brides are wearing ponytails for their big day. They can be a fusion of glamourous set waves to low set and tied at the nape of the neck.
Half Up Do
Becoming increasingly popular are styles that are swept to one side. This can include braids and twists and create a glamorous, but soft style. Perfect backdrop to some stand out earrings or reveal the back detail of a stunning wedding dress.
It’s classic, but still very popular. It can be slicked back, or softened by untucking a few tendrils.
Classic Relaxed Upstyle
As popular as ever. The romantic relaxed updo. Chic and stylish. What is not to love!
