Food Pairings: Spicy food (Indian, Thai), sandwiches, smoked fish. Classic India Pale Ale dry hopped to give burst of hop flavours. The history of Pale Ale is long and noteworthy. Its export to India to satisfy thirsty colonialists created the greatest story the brewing world has to offer. Golden ale with hoppy flavours of citrus and pine give way to a bitter but clean finish. Through years of taxation and drive for profits, the spirit of pale ale and IPA got lost. Hogshead 54 seeks to rekindle that fire. ABV: 5.5%.
Food Pairings: Salads, Egg dishes and Spicy Food. Signature Blonde ale skillfully balanced between hops and malt. Blonde Boar is a refreshing ale perfect for warmer months or nostalgic musings towards them. Low in bitterness but with a healthy addition of New World hops, this beer delivers a zesty, fruity aroma and taste with a light body. A highly-sessionable, thirst quenching beer, with more to it than meets the eye. ABV: 3.7%.
Food Pairings: Roasted and grilled meats or salty snacks. Traditional English bitter updated and enhanced for the discerning palate. Mad Pig Ale has a medium body and uses a clean fermenting yeast to achieve a dry clean finish. Moderate addition of hops provides gentle notes of spice, citrus and pine to the mix. This beer strips brewing back to its roots creating harmony between complexity and moreishness. A bitter where balance reigns supreme. Enjoy it anytime, on its own or with food. ABV: 4.0%.
