Falconry Experiences
Offering some of the best views across Windermere, Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa is the perfect place to experience falconry in Cumbria. Take a scenic walk climbing out on to the fell at the back of the resort for some stunning views of Low Wood Bay, Windermere and beyond. There you can meet your falconry expert and handler who will introduce you to some amazing birds of prey.
Our 'Hawk Walk' falconry sessions in Cumbria
To make the most of your time at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, we have a selection of ‘Hawk Walk’ falconry experience packages from which to choose, with the added opportunity of a spa visit and a 2-course lunch or afternoon tea for a big day out.
During your Hawk Walk, you'll get up close and personal to the birds of prey and try your hand at falconry with one of the birds flying to and from your gloved hand. You'll get to call the birds to you and experience the unique bond between bird and human.
Hawk Walk for Two
Designed ideally for two people, meet and greet with your falconer in the hotel Atrium and then enjoy a one hour guided Hawk Walk throughout the resort grounds.
Your Lake District falconry experience includes:

• 1 hour Hawk Walk

Take some time to relax before or after your Hawk Walk with a morning or afternoon in our lake view thermal spa. This package includes a three hour Thermal Journey spa day where you can fully immerse yourself in our indoor and outdoor spa areas in addition to a 1 hour Hawk Walk with your falconer.
