A calming overnight retreat inspired by Windermere’s heritage, combining time on the lake, spa relaxation, dinner, cocktails and a restorative overnight stay at Low Wood Bay.

The Winander Retreat

Your retreat begins aboard Winander, our traditional wooden Windermere launch, dating back almost 100 years. Named after an historic name for Windermere, Winander reflects the character, heritage and timeless beauty of the lake. With Prosecco and canapés served on board, it offers a memorable way to experience Windermere from the water.

After returning to Low Wood Bay, your luggage will already be waiting in your room, leaving you free to settle in and enjoy your chosen spa experience. Choose either a relaxing spa treatment or a 3 hour Thermal Journey.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at leisure in your choice of The W, serving seasonal British and continental dishes, or Blue Smoke, known for its wood fired grill and open kitchen. Both restaurants enjoy views over Windermere. Afterwards, enjoy a cocktail experience.

The following morning, ease gently into the day with a 2 hour sunrise session, followed by a 45 minute stretch session with Sally. Breakfast will then be served at leisure, giving you time to enjoy the peaceful lakeside setting before departure.
