Our 'Alternative' Windermere breakfast special is sure to give you just the boost you need to start the day. Whether you’re holding an all-important breakfast meeting or fortifying the legs for a day’s exploration on the fells, this is a breakfast you will truly savour.
The ‘Alternative Breakfast’ is beautifully presented three tier serving platter of mouthwatering breakfast treats, and the best breakfast served in our famous alternative tea style. Three tiers of some of the variety of flavours and best breakfast dishes served at The Wild Boar.
From 8:00am each weekday morning, The Wild Boar’s culinary team is up, ready and waiting. We serve not only our guests but also non-residents seeking a bit of breakfast adventure. It's fast becoming a breakfast hotspot in the Lake District for hikers, fell runners, campers and glampers.
Treat yourself to an alternative breakfast in Windermere
The ‘Alternative’ breakfast provides you with a smorgasbord of delicious treats. Why not start with a traditional porridge enhanced with a Balvenie 12-year-old double wood whisky, sultanas, Gateway honey, toasted seeds and nuts?
What about the ‘Full English’ breakfast aficionado? Tuck in to our streaky bacon and duck egg pan with pigs in blankets and grilled tomato.
