The ancient woodland at Wild Boar Estate, near Windermere, creates the perfect backdrop for guests and visitors to try their hand at the lumberjack inspired sport of axe throwing.
Under the watchful supervision of Mike Coates participants will be tutored in the skilful techniques required to throw a variety of axes at wooden targets. This activity is open to all but is great for groups of friends or small parties as you vie with one another to be the first to hit the bullseye mark.
Pricing
Axe throwing sessions are available to book by guests staying at Wild Boar Estate and also to non residents alike (see Terms & Conditions).
A session of Axe throwing is priced at £59 per person for residents staying at Wild Boar Estate or another sister hotel with English Lakes Hotels. The price per session for non residents is £69 per person when taken with a booking for food at Wild Boar Estate.

2. The special price is only available on bookings where the minimum number of residents is reached.
3. Axe throwing is only bookable in conjunction with a stay at The Wild Boar or one of it's English Lakes sister hotels or along with a meal booking at The Wild Boar.
A Gift voucher for Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery or Axe Throwing makes the perfect gift for friends & family. Gift Vouchers are purchased directly from Michael Coates and include a morning or afternoon activity session. On redemption of the voucher a food booking or overnight stay at English Lakes Hotels must be taken.
