The ancient woodland at Wild Boar Estate, near Windermere, creates the perfect backdrop for guests and visitors to try their hand at the lumberjack inspired sport of axe throwing.
Under the watchful supervision of Mike Coates participants will be tutored in the skilful techniques required to throw a variety of axes at wooden targets. This activity is open to all but is great for groups of friends or small parties as you vie with one another to be the first to hit the bullseye mark.
Making a booking
Sessions are available to book by hotel guests (residents) staying at Wild Boar Estate, Low Wood Bay or Lancaster House Hotel and also to non hotel residents. To book please call: 07814 030 249
Discounted rates are applicable on axe throwing when booked with a clay pigeon shooting or archery session.
Non residents taking part in an activity at the Wild Boar Estate have 2 options available when making an activity booking:
Free parking is available at Wild Boar Estate, however due to limited parking at the hotel there is a maximum of two cars per group (please enquire if over this limit).
£50 per person
£20 per person (minimum of 2 people) if booked with clay pigeon shooting or archery
