Wild Boar Estate's 70 acres of private ancient woods in the picturesque Gilpin valley provides the perfect backdrop for our 'Hawk Walk' Falconry Experience. Join our falconer for an amazing woodland 'Hawk Walk' with a hawk flying through the trees alongside you. You'll have the opportunity to 'get up-close and personal' with our beautiful birds by becoming the falconer yourself. Calling the bird to land on your gloved fist you'll experience first hand the special bond between man and bird.

Closely supervised you will get the chance of shooting at clay's simulating the flight of a variety of wild birds, including; pheasant, crow, grouse.
Try various archery disciplines, progressing in difficulty and developing your skills. Including Straw Targets, Field Archery and Moving Targets.
Learn the techniques required to throw a variety of axes at wooden targets. Open to all but great for groups and small parties!
