This year we give you the option to stay on our 2 or 3 night package, both arriving on the 24th for a truly memorable Christmas, full of food, fun and festivities.
Arrive from midday to a Christmas welcome, unpack & settle in where the resort becomes your festive home for your stay, join us from 2pm in our Langdale Lounge and Atrium area for a warming glass of mulled wine.
This afternoon we will be serving our signature Low Wood Bay festive sandwich with dipping gravy to set you up for the evening’s festivities.
We will be kicking off our traditional festive activities with our local carol singers ’The Christmas Belles' getting us in the festive spirit. This will be accompanied with hot chocolates, snowballs and a boozy eggnog.
Dinner this evening is served from 6.00pm through to 8:30pm in either The W or Blue Smoke at Low Wood Bay, accompanied by a glass of champagne and canapes before enjoying a delicious 3 course meal. (Please book early to secure your preferred dining experience).
For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass, a warming glass of mulled wine awaits your return before you retire to bed ready for the big day ahead (transport can be arranged on request).
Enjoy a morning Bucks Fizz to start the Christmas celebrations off. After a hearty breakfast why not work up an appetite with a morning walk or take a swim in our indoor leisure pool which are open 11am to 1pm.
Father Christmas is due to be visiting us and will appear in person with his friend, Sam the Dog. Sam will guide us to our giant Christmas tree in the Gallery Lounge where Father Christmas will have gifts for all the children (aged 12 or under), providing they have been good of course!
A traditional Christmas Day lunch will be served in The W between 1pm and 3pm, or in Blue Smoke at Low Wood Bay, from 12.30pm to 2pm. (Please book early to secure your preferred dining venue).
We will gather to watch The King address the nation and enjoy a slice of our fabulous Christmas cake.
For those of you who still have space to fill, enjoy our grazing Gala buffet at your leisure in the W restaurant from 7pm, the evening is then yours to relax and enjoy our selection of card and board games.
After enjoying a hearty Lakeland breakfast, we wish a fond farewell for those checking out today. For guests on our 3-night package today gives you the chance to unwind, invigorate and relax. Your stay includes a complimentary cruise on Lake Windermere which is available from Waterhead pier, just a short walk up the road.
We invite you to experience our award-winning Spa for a thermal journey which will be available at your leisure from 10am till 4pm. (The thermal journey is applicable for ages 16 and over only).
Our Indoor thermal spaces offer 5 experiences, indoor relaxation pool and bubble spa whilst our outsides areas offer breathtaking views from the Infinity pool, hot tubs and sauna. Should you wish to book a treatment these are charged as extras.
Our Langdale lounge will be available for lunch today between 12 noon and 3pm. (Lunch options not included in the package price)
Dinner this evening gives you two very different options, featuring some of the finest local produce. The W will be hosting a five course Italian themed Fine dining set tasting menu or Blue Smoke will be offering a specialist Grill night, featuring some of the finest aged meats uniquely wood-fired on our open grill, with accompanying sides and sauces. (Bookings required to secure your preferred dining option) Round Christmas off with a night cap at our Langdale lounge.
The conclusion of our Christmas package is, of course, a traditional Cumbrian breakfast and a fond farewell, with best wishes for the year ahead, alternatively should you wish to stay longer this can be arranged.
