Arrive from midday, unpack, relax and unwind before joining us from 2pm in our lounge and Atrium area for a warming glass of mulled wine and festive cream tea and snacks.
We will be kicking off our traditional festive activities at 4pm in the Atrium, with our local carol singers. For children the excitement is building! There will be various festive activities taking place, followed by hot chocolate and a festive story at 5pm.
Dinner this evening is served from 6pm through to 8:30pm in either The W or Blue Smoke at Low Wood Bay, accompanied by a glass of champagne and canapes, before enjoying a delicious 3 course meal. (Please book early to secure your preferred dining experience).
For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass, a warming glass of mulled wine awaits your return before you retire to bed ready for the big day ahead (transport can be arranged on request).
Enjoy a Buck’s Fizz breakfast between 8am – 10am, and why not take an early morning swim in the Health Club which is open until 12 noon.
Father Christmas is due to be visiting us and will appear in person with his friend, Sam the Dog. Sam will guide us to our giant Christmas tree in the Gallery Lounge where Father Christmas will have gifts for all the children (aged 12 or under), providing they have been good of course!
A traditional Christmas Day lunch will be served in The W between 1pm and 3pm, or in Blue Smoke at Low Wood Bay, from 12.30pm to 2pm. (Please book early to secure your preferred dining venue).
We will gather to watch The King address the nation and enjoy a slice of our fabulous Christmas cake.
For those of you who still have space to fill, we will be serving a light but sumptuous evening buffet in our Lakes Suite from 7pm, followed by bingo and a night at the races at 9pm with prizes for the lucky winners.
Enjoy a hearty Lakeland breakfast and have the rest of the morning to relax and choose what you’d like to do.
Today offers a great opportunity to indulge yourself and enjoy all that The Spa has to offer, from a treatment to a relaxing Thermal Journey. (Spa experiences are chargeable and not included within the package and booking is essential prior to arrival).
Blue Smoke at Low Wood Bay is available for lunch today between 12 noon and 3pm, or alternatively our lounge menu will be available in the Langdale bar (lunch options not included within the package price).
From 12:30pm we invite you to take part in our cheese and port tasting afternoon. We will sample some of the best local and British cheeses, washed down with a selection of great ports to accompany.
Dinner this evening is served from 6pm through to 8:30pm in either The W or Blue Smoke at Low Wood Bay. (Please book early to secure your table in either restaurant).
After dinner, we welcome you to join us in our Gallery lounge for our Vegas Party Night. Try your luck at the Blackjack or Roulette tables. We will have prizes for the highest winner.
The conclusion of our Christmas package is, of course, a traditional Cumbrian breakfast and a fond farewell, with best wishes for the year ahead.
Our 3-night package commences on the 24th December and includes all meals and entertainment as detailed.
