Wakesurfing, Kneeboarding & Waterskiing
Using well established training techniques, the latest generation Mastercraft surf boat, wakesurf boards for all abilities, let us take you to the water for the experience of your life!
Low Wood Bay Watersports Centre provides free parking for customers and is just a short 5 minute drive from Windermere or Ambleside.
Wakesurfing
Our highly qualified, British waterski licensed, Wakesurfing instructors will get you surfing behind a top of the range Mastercraft Surf boat on Lake Windermere. This activity is for those who want to challenge themselves, surfing on a generated wave created from the boat.
Kneeboarding
Fun for all the family we offer Kneeboarding, where you are towed behind the boat on a longer line kneeling down on the board. Suitable for all abilities.
Waterskiing
Waterskiing is a thrilling activity where you are towed behind our Mastercraft Ski boat, on a pair of modern water skis.
Our British Waterski qualified instructors will teach you the basics on the training bar, with the aim to progress to being towed behind the boat on the ski line.
Our beginner derived waterski lessons are aimed at those who have not water-skied previously and it is the progressive step from kneeboarding.
Our waterskiing sessions are for up to 3 people in 1 hour and our instructors will be adhering to the 10 nautical mph speed limit on lake Windermere.
The boat can accommodate up to 6 people including the activity participants, to allow family or friends to spectate. Waterskis, wetsuits and impact vests are all provided.
Please note: there is a 10 nautical mph speed limit on lake Windermere and all our activities will observe this speed limit.

Prices are for the boat, not per person and include buoyancy aids and wetsuits – all you will need to bring is a swimming costume and a towel.
