We are delighted to introduce Tara and Alison of Lune Valley Home & Garden Florists, a local family-run business situated within a stones throw of Lancaster House Hotel.
As the hotel's designated florist Lune Valley are giving away one of their wedding packages to the Win a Wedding couple at our Enchanted Evening event next month. Alison tells us a little about their business and what is the latest wedding fashion in flowers.
Wedding Perfection
Lune Valley Home & Garden Florist has been running for over 35 years. Although we have been through many changes over the years, the one thing that hasn't changed is our wedding service. Styles change and different choices of flowers but what will never change is that it will always be the most important day of a couple’s life and everything has to be just perfect.

The business is run by Alison and her daughter Tara with a total of five members of staff. They have more than a handful of top floristry qualifications between them as well as many years experience in the flower industry.

Big Bridal Fashions
Big weddings are very much in fashion with the brides wanting not just bridal party bouquets but lots of table arrangements, arches, in fact the whole venue decorating, even the staircases.
The last two royal weddings have made a huge impression on new brides. The white rose is still the most popular flower in wedding work along with peonies. Unfortunately the peony season is only around 3-4 months long. Gypsophlia is also very popular.
Enchanted Evening 'Win a Wedding' Event
On 21st September Lancaster House are hosting an Enchanted Evening. This will be an opportunity to preview the 2019 Jennifer Couchman wedding gown collection, meet a host of wedding suppliers, enjoy refreshments and entertainment. One ticket holder will also win the wedding of their dreams, and proceeds from tickets will be donated to North West Cancer Research.
Lune Valley Home and Garden Florists will be one of many wedding suppliers at the event and we are absolutely thrilled that they are gifting one of their wedding packages to the lucky couple.
