Tickets are now on sale for Lancaster House Enchanted Evening event in September.
It promises to be a stylish evening when the 2019 wedding gowns of Jennifer Pritchard Couchman are launched onto the catwalk. There will also be a host of entertainment, a glass of fizz, tasty nibbles and the opportunity to meet our wedding suppliers. If you haven’t heard yet, one ticket holder will walk away with the wedding of their dreams, paid for in full.
Over the next few weeks we are featuring some of the wedding suppliers who will be at the event, but who are also giving their products and services to the couple with the winning ticket. We catch up with Gary Mills, wedding DJ who never fails to get the party started…
Wedding DJ
I have been entertaining people as a DJ for nearly 19 years now but have been primarily involved with being a Wedding DJ for the past 10 years. Over the past 9 years I’ve been privileged to be involved with the English Lakes family of hotels, including Lancaster House. I was delighted to be asked to be part of the Enchanted Evening event in September, especially as it was supporting North West Cancer Research.
What does a good DJ bring to the party?
I like to try and interact with the guests to make sure I create plenty of fun and happy memories for the Bride, Groom and their guests. I tailor my set to suit the couple’s musical tastes. Being a Wedding DJ is my full time profession but I still feel so very honoured when I am invited to be part of any couple’s big day. I just try to bring the Best Party to each celebration to complement the event!
Soundtrack to Their Wedding Day
I will be providing the recipients of the ‘Win a Wedding’ with a fantastic night of Music and Laughter and non-stop Dancing. I will be bringing my Premier Sound and Lighting Set Up to the venue.
I will also present The Bride and Groom one of my Bespoke Wedding CDs which comes in a Handmade CD Sleeve which will have the Bride and Grooms name Embossed on its sleeve. This will be compiled from The Bride and Grooms playlist, it will be the Soundtrack to their Wedding Day.
I’m really looking forward to working with all of the other fabulous hand-picked Wedding Suppliers to help provide the lucky winners with the Wedding Day of their lives.
