The great thing about a vintage wedding is that while fashion trends come and go, classic glamour will never go out of style or favour in the wedding scene.
Vintage Weddings at The Midland
The Midland is a unique art deco hotel that can offer versatility, style, history and sophistication for your wedding celebration.
Adding a touch of vintage style to your wedding offers individuality and distinctiveness, two things which will always be desirable for a wedding day to remember.
The Midland is an iconic art deco hotel oozing seaside glamour, which has an illustrious history. Having first opened its doors in July 1933, designed by Oliver Hill with interior decoration by Eric Gill, the hotel has a rich heritage. The Midland was once rumoured to be a favourite haunt of many celebrities such as Coco Chanel, Laurence Olivier and Noel Coward. Following its restoration and refurbishment The Midland has beautifully restored existing features, such as the grand cantilevered staircase and a number of artworks by the renowned artist Eric Gill, and a few contemporary additions such as the chandelier in the Rotunda Bar.

Adding touches from yesteryear to your wedding will give your guests something to remember. It will also give them the chance to find something vintage to don in preparation for your big day, a simple vintage brooch, a cravat, a retro pair of shoes!
