All of our hotels have child and family friendly rooms to accommodate a family of any age or size. We also have Sam’s Club, our child friendly club, specially designed to keep children aged 2 to 15 years old entertained for their whole holiday. Lawn Games at Low Wood Bay
Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa offers a selection of free to use lawn based games. Available to use are Croquet, Boules and Soft Ball. Please ask at the hotel reception.
Water Sports at Low Wood Bay
We have a variety of activities that are suitable for children: Fly boarding, Sailing, Boat Hire, Canoeing and Kayaking, Water skiing, Wake Boarding and Paddle boarding. All guests of English Lakes Hotels also get 10% discount on watersports activities.
The Wild Boar
The Alphabet Trail at the Wild Boar Woods
With map in hand, wander around the woods at The Wild Boar and try to spot the various items hidden in the trees. There are clues to help you spot the items and complete the alphabet from A to Z. Please ask at the hotel reception for more information.
The Wild Gym
Dotted around the woods at The Wild Boar are a variety of activity stations for all the family to enjoy. Children can enjoy balancing and hanging around whilst parents catch up on exercise.

Children's Eating Out
All our restaurants and bars welcome children and have tailored menus for children aged up to 12. High chairs and booster seats are available. A Sam's 'Paws for a cordial' bottle can be purchased for £2, once bought children can enjoy free cordial refills at any English Lakes venue.
Room Charges for Children
Infants requiring a cot and sharing a room with 2 full paying adults are accommodated free of charge, for both their bed and breakfast. Children 15 and under, sharing a room with 2 full paying adults, are charged £25 each per night which includes breakfast. All children’s evening meals are charged as taken from either the children’s or main menu.
